Are your best writers senior staff who have no time to write? Are your top people being pulled away from strategy to fix sub-par prose? Are you green-lighting content you know isn’t great just to meet deadlines?

Most of my clients face these challenges. In an ideal world, they’d have a senior-level strategist focused solely on writing. That's what I am. For more than 15 years, I’ve held senior marketing and communications positions at prominent organizations. But recently, in a quest for work/life balance, I became a freelance writer.

The timing has been good. So many businesses these days need a non-stop stream of quality content yet lack the right resources. Agencies can be too expensive, too formal. Hiring and training a full-time staff writer requires a heavy investment of time with no guarantee of success. When I talk to executives, I hear a common refrain: “We just need a writer who catches on quickly, comes back with something great, and requires very little hand-holding in between.”

I am that someone.

I develop content that is smart, compelling, concise, and, whenever called for, fun. Even better, I make sure that a client’s strategic goals drive every word.
